The Sky is the Limit

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth just yet but I'm working all the time so haven't posted in a while.
Here are some pictures of the sky. They are pretty and I haven't seen the sky at sunset for a while because of mentioned work.
Can't wait for a whole weekend off....what to do? The possibilities are endless....

Long Live Mc Queen

A few nights ago I watched the Alexander Mc Queen documentary "Mc Queen & I". It was amazing to watch how the designers life went from normality to the extreme, crazy fashion world life where hes was designing 10 collections in one year....TEN!!! Mc Queen's relationship with the wonderfully eccentric Isabella Blow was intriguing, and her description of the designer as being a "wild bird" was very apt.
He was an amazing designer and thrived to shock and stun his audiences which he often did with outrageous collections with equally outrageous themes. The final collection before Alexander's death was incredible and a defining moment in fashion. Mc Queen earned his fashion stripes first by shocking and then by proving what a brilliant designer he was. His sad and shocking death was a great loss to fashion, I can only imagine the fabulous ideas and creations that were to come.

Mc Queen will forever be fashion royalty.
