On Sunday I went to the Matisse exhibition currently running in the Chester Beatty Library at Dublin Castle. The exhibition was based around books Matisse had illustrated. Mostly lino cutting and stencil prints. Some of the work was just black and white but my favourite was the brightly coloured Circus inspired prints. The work looks much better in reality, couldnt use a flash at all at all, hence the dodgy snaps.
The prints would make great scarves.

I bought new boots.
They are white leather, and very similar to the Acne ones I have been lusting after for aaaggges minus the whopper price tag. They are also border line 80's cowgirl and I love them.
I probably shouldn't have bought them seeing as it's Summer time and I should be investing in a pair of sandals or wedges or both. But hey I'm livin on the edge :)

MET Ball

It was all feathers , sequins and see through at the Met ball last night...most fashionistas opting for the safe, long silhouette. Daphne Guinness didn't disappoint in her Mc Queen creation whilst Alexa "princess of cool" Chung went for a 60ish transparent/sequined/pocketed number...not a 100% convinced
The Dakota sisters looked cute in a kooky kind of way, whilst Christina went all out Spider girl spooky...fair play.

Andre Leon Talley's ridiculously over the top cloak is amazing.

Gwyneth and Sarah Jessica lookin a bit similar uh oh..
