London Fashion Week

London Fashion week is always a wonderful spectacle, the fashionistas come out in their droves to  turn heads, be snapped and to keep London's fashion reputation rocketing sky high.
This year was no exception with Somerset House being the epicentre of all things stylish. I went along with my friend Joan for the day. She was being interviewed By Deirdre McQuillan for The Irish Times. The article was about Irish designers living in London, Joan discussed working as a designer for Puma along side running The African Shirt Company. Have a read of the article here

Whilst Joan was busy chatting I was loitering in Somerset House courtyard taking it all in. The thing I love about fashion week is that anything goes. People wear what they want, how they want. You will find the most simple "thrown together" looks (which probably took hours to perfect) alongside some weird and wacky ensemble.
I myself wore an all blue look, with an African Shirt adding a bit of fun. As I'm a lover of all things that sparkle, the hat seemed like a must, also great for keeping the rain off!
